Our common bond is that we are women ...
of all ages ranging from 10 to 95... of all economic and social backgrounds... of all artistic levels from the professionally trained painter, to the college-educated master of fine arts, to the elementary school art teacher, to the grandmother-taught knitter, to the studio potter, to the self-taught paper crafter, to the dabbler in whatever "fancies my creative spirit today." We are all-inclusive, any woman may become a member and participate in any event we sponsor.

Our common interest is in nurturing creativity...
very broadly defined....in all forms and areas of life....from painting, to pottery, textile design, gardening, cooking, antique restoration, trash-to-treasure, jewelry, sculpture, printmaking, glassmaking, photography, weaving, writing, acting... thinking outside the box, nurturing our inner creative soul by sharing ideas, brainstorming, laughing, and having fun.

Our common mission is to "Empower Women Through Creativity"...
through our shared belief that a creative spark lies in every individual waiting to emerge. Each day we use creative thinking to better our lives. By creating something, no matter how big or small, no matter what form - whether a batch of cookies, a flower arrangement, a friendship bracelet, a letter, a watercolor painting, a hand knit scarf, a ceramic bowl...we feel good in our accomplishment. Some of us choose to market and sell our creative endeavors to build a business or make extra spending money. Others are simply happy in the process of creativity.

an open mind, a willingness to experiment, fail, and try again, and a caring spirit that will support the members of The SheArt Network. We hope that you will join us in our quest to "Create Our World".
